What Are Compute Credits?

Compute credits measure the AI processing power your agents use. Every task — answering questions, browsing the web, writing code — consumes credits based on its complexity.

• Simple tasks use fewer credits (quick responses, basic searches)
• Complex tasks use more credits (multi-step research, detailed analysis, tool usage)
• One compute credit = $0.0005 of actual AI compute cost

Credits automatically reflect task complexity, so you don't need to think about input tokens, output tokens, or model pricing. One number, easy to understand.

Credit Consumption

1. Included credits first — use-it-or-lose-it each billing period
2. Reloaded credits second — persist until used

Your usage is tracked on the Billing page in your dashboard.

Usage Tracking

The Billing page shows:

• Credit usage bar — how much of your monthly quota you've used
• Percentage — e.g., "82% of 1.5M credits"
• Credits remaining — how many you have left this period
• Reloaded credits — your purchased balance that never expires

Credit Top-Ups

When included credits run out, reload your balance with any amount:

• Minimum reload: $20
• Rate: $1.50 per 1,000 credits (67% margin for us, transparent pricing for you)
• No expiration — reloaded credits carry over month to month
• Instant top-up — agents resume immediately after payment

Auto-Refill (Optional)

Enable auto-refill in your billing settings to avoid interruption:

• Trigger: When credits drop below your chosen threshold (10%, 20%, etc.)
• Amount: Your selected reload amount ($20, $50, $100, or custom)
• Spending cap: Monthly limit (default $500, adjustable up to $5,000)
• OFF by default — must be explicitly enabled

Auto-refill prevents your agents from pausing while staying within your budget.

What Happens When Credits Run Out?

When you exhaust both included and reloaded credits:

1. Your agents are paused (not deleted — your data is safe)
2. You receive an email notification
3. Dashboard shows instructions to reload credits or upgrade your plan
4. Agents resume automatically within 60 seconds of payment

Warning at 80%

When you reach 80% of your included credits:

• You'll receive an email warning
• The dashboard shows a yellow banner
• This gives you time to reload credits or upgrade before agents pause

Managing Your Subscription

Click Manage Billing on the Billing page to:

• Update your payment method
• View invoices and credit transaction history
• Change or cancel your plan
• Enable/disable auto-refill

Credit vs. Token Model

We moved from raw token counting to compute credits for simpler, fairer billing:

• No confusing input/output/cache distinctions — one credit number
• Automatically reflects task complexity — harder work costs more, simpler work costs less
• Transparent pricing — credits tied directly to our actual AI costs
• Top-up flexibility — reload any amount instead of fixed token packs

Have a coupon? Enter it on the Billing page before selecting a plan. Promotional codes are shared directly with eligible customers.
